Still a long wait
So it appears that it is still a long wait for something different around here. You still need to wait I guess. Not that I have any readers, but that is besides the point.
Over the past 5-6 months, a lot has happened. New baby was born, right in the middle of a MAJOR push for a failed software release. That project was doomed to failure since the start. That is what happens when against all warnings, the boss forces the use of a non-tested "RAD" tool. Oh well, that boss no longer is around, and we are all the happier for the technology change.
Took the kids skiing this winter. The boy went last year, and so other than not paying attention every 15 feet, he did ok. By the end of the day, the girl was skiing by herself. She had so much fun that she threw a tantrum when it was time to go home. I NEED to take them back up one more time this winter, but it is expensive, and I need someone else to go up to assist. Hard to watch 2 kids at the same time!
Anyhow, with a few things my wife has volunteered me for lately, I am still low on time for projects, but there is a chance for changes because of one of those side projects. I'll keep you posted.
